Friends of Northampton Trails hosts and co-hosts events throughout the year. For the latest information, be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages.
Monthly Bike Party
Every 3rd Thursday of the month, FNT meets in Pulaski Park at 6 PM for a family-friendly bike ride through Northampton neighborhoods. Often with themes and costumes, these rides are open to families with children. Typically the rides are about 1 – 1.5 hours long and are slow to moderate pace. When there are bike lanes provided, we encourage riders to use them; when there are no bike lanes, riders take the whole lane. We typically ride rain, snow, or shine unless conditions are unsafe; for the most up-to-date information be sure to check out social media pages.
Trail Clean Ups
In the warmer months, we host and co-host trail clean-ups. If you’re interested in volunteering for an upcoming trail clean-up reach out at info@fntrails.org. We’ll announce upcoming trail clean-ups in our monthly newsletter and on our social media pages.
6th Annual Great Tree Bicycle Tour | May 11-19, 2024
Each year, the Friends of Northampton Trails along with Tree Northampton invite you to join us on a self-guided tour through the neighborhoods of Northampton while experiencing 11 champion trees. Each stop features an audio description of the story and unique nature of these 11 champion trees, accessible by QR code. This year, we’re partnering with All Out Adventures and All Bodies on Bikes to host a guided bike ride on Sunday, May 19th — learn more here!
